RF Design Knowledge

RF Simulation Tools

RF design techniques have moved on from the 'try it and see' approach taken years ago. Now modern simulation tools enable the circuit and system designer to accurately predict the behaviour of a circuit or full system.

To achieve reliable simulations Telestrian has invested in Microwave Office™ and VSS™ from Applied Wave Research. With linear, non-linear and system simulators, designs can be thoroughly analysed before and during development.

For designing printed structures, Telestrian owns Sonnet Lite Plus™ which is a planar 3D EM simulation tool.

Telestrian has also generated its own simulation system for phase locked loop design and optimization. Combined with Mathcad®, Microwave Office™ and Telestrian's test equipment, synthesizers are made predictable and fully testable.
